The number of users on the website has been decreasing for a long time.
The core business problem is to encourage new - young - users to visit betxpert and place bets via the site.
In order to check whether the business idea will translate into addressing the users' needs, I decided to examine user preferences with the help of surveys.
The result was as follows.
Regular users answered "no" to the question "would you like the site to include bookmaker bets".
After doing some additional research, some short interviews, and post talks, i have proved that users simply do not need to bet inside BetXpert.
What they wanted was to provide more quality experts, and update the page more often, add some sports which are missing.
I collected data and presented it to the business.
Unfortunately, despite my opinion about the direction of the product development, they decided to introduce an updated version of the site with the main emphasis on betting
Sometimes to show a business that they are wrong you must let them fail.
